Bristol Amphitheatre is well served by local bus routes. 

The closest stops are Anchor Road stops A1 and A2, approximately 3 minutes walk from the venue. Further services stop at The Centre, approximately 5–10 minutes walk away.

Public car parking is available at Millenium Square right outside the event and has 22 designated disabled parking bays located across both floors: https://www.millenniumsquarecarpark.co.uk/

Drop off points are located along Canons Way and Explore Lane. Approximately 120meters from our main entrance.

Bristol Amphitheatre has step free access. We welcome both wheelchairs and mobility devices to the site.

The venue has a dedicated Access Entrance to the right of the main ticket lanes for faster entry.

We have a lowered bar at the main bar on Waterfront Square, located opposite the entrance to the viewing platform.

These are outdoor events. Whilst the site floor is hard standing, parts of the venue include cobbled and uneven terrain. It can also get very crowded in certain areas.

As you move towards the stage, bars and viewing platform, the terrain becomes entirely cobbles that can be difficult for people to navigate. The viewing platform is also primarily cobbled.

We offer a raised viewing platform with step free access.

This elevated area provides wheelchair-accessible space, standard seating, and some standing space. Ensuring everyone has the chance to enjoy the show from a good vantage point.

Viewing Platform capacity is limited:

Access to the area is based on a first come first served basis so please make any access request as early as possible, and no later than 10 days before the event date.

Whilst we will do our best to accommodate everyone, priority is always reserved for customers with long standing Disability or health conditions. Temporary conditions such as pregnancy or recent injuries such as broken bones cannot always be accommodated.

We will always try to accommodate a companion where possible, but at very busy events where platform access is in high demand this may not be possible.

Accessible Toilets are available near the entrance to the Viewing Platform. These have step free access.

Standard toilets are also located at several clearly signed locations around the site. Some are located up steps.

To be eligible for the Viewing Platform and/or Personal Assistant Ticket Scheme, you must supply at least one document from the ‘Supporting Documents’ list. It must be dated within the past 12 months or include a valid date that covers the event. You will also need to provide a form of photo ID along with your supporting documentation.

• Front-page of Middle or Higher rate DLA letter or PIP letter 

• Evidence of being registered as severely sight impaired (blind)

• Recognised Assistance Dog ID card

• Valid Nimbus Access Card showing you require a +1 to accompany you

• Armed Forces Independent Disability Payment

• War Disablement Pension

• A specialist medical consultant letter stating your need for additional assistance at events

Due to the loud and hectic nature of the event environment, we encourage customers to consider attending with a companion instead of bringing a dog to the events if possible.

Individual events may feature strobe lighting and flashing effects that may trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
